Entrance fee to Amani Nature Reserve is currently $10 per person , covering the entire stay.

Other information:

The tents are spacious, big and comfortable. Except for Turraco the Tented Bandas have no en suite facilities. We hope to improve that during 2012 and 2013

Bush showers and environmentally sound compost toilets.

At reasonable rates we have knowledgeable and professional guides available who have a detailed knowledge of the birds of East Africa as well as local flora, fauna and culture. If possible please book in advance.

Emau Hill Forest Camp is an excellent location for the serious or more casual birdwatcher with all the 'must see' birds of the Eastern Usambara being recorded on or very near the site. We have bird lists, and a growing number of printed guides to local walks for those who wish to venture about themselves – the local community is very welcoming. There is a rich and diverse flora for those who are interested as well as lizards, chameleons etc. Besides good food we also have a well assorted bar.
